2. Read and comply with all gas safety
instructions per the ENO Owner’s
Manual.
3.TurnallcontrolknobstotheOFFposition.
4.Openthemanualcylinderandsolenoid
valves.Turnthemanualcylindervalve
inthecounterclockwisedirection,and
switch the solenoid valve to the open
position.
5. Push in the control knob; at the same
timeturnthecontrolknobtothedesired
temperature or to the broil position,
Press the ignition button and hold the
knob down until the burner is lit.
Continue holding the burner control
knoballthewayinforabouttwenty(20)
secondsafterignition.Thiswillheatthe
thermocouple and allowthe gas valve
to stay open. The thermocouple is
designedtocutoffthegassupplytothe
burneriftheameshouldaccidentally
beextinguished.
6.Closetheovendoorcarefullytoensure
that the oven burner will not be
extinguished.
7.Beforelightingthebroilerburnermake
sure that the oven rack has been
adjusted to position your food at the
desired height.
8. Rememberthatbroilingisarapidprocess.
Broil with the Door Open. Check your
foodoften,anddonotrunthebroilerfor
morethan20minutesatatime.
Thermostatically Controlled Oven
Operation
Theburnerwilloperateonhighuntiltheset
temperature is reached. The burner will
thenautomaticallyreducetoalowame.
Duringoperationtheburnernevergoesoff.
Whenthetemperaturehasbeen reached
andtheameisverylowbesuretoclose
theovendoorslowlywhencheckingyour
food.
Note: Storage of pots and pans inside
the oven may cause damage to the
broiler element.
Care And Maintenance
Thesurfacescanbedamagediftheproper
care is not given. Please follow these
maintenance suggestions and you will
haveagoodlookingapplianceforyearsto
come.
1. Do not use any abrasive chemical
cleanersontheinsideoroutsideofyour
range.Anyhouseholdliquidcleaneris
recommended.
2. Use a clean cloth or sponge to apply
cleaners.
3. Remove stains as quickly as possible
beforetheybecome“set”.
4.Donotletfoodspillsorburntfoodsbuild
uponanysurfaceofyourgalleyrange.
5.Youcanuseahouseholdovencleaner
fortheoven,butremembertofollowthe
productmanufacturer’sdirections.
6.DonotusesteelwoolorSOS-typepads
tocleananypartofyourrange.These
productswillembednesteelparticles
in the surface of the stainless steel
causingitto“bleed”(rust)inamarine
environment.Usebronzewoolorsome
othernon-metallicabrasiveifyoumust.
Beaware,however,thatyourrangehas
a ne nish that can be scratched by
someabrasivepadsorcleansers.
