Error Code Description Details

Master outdoor unit upper heat exchanger temperature
sensor error.
Check the connection on the outdoor unit PCB.
Thermistor shorted or opened.
Check for 12 V DC between 12 V and GND (red to black) for
5 V DC.
Check the Signal to GND (white to black) and use correct chart
from Troubleshooting section to compare with actual system
temperature.

Slave1 outdoor unit upper heat exchanger temperature
sensor error.

Prevents HEX from bursting (from freezing) when operating.
Does not protect HEX if the glycol is inadequate, nor if the
hydro kit is off and not operating.
Outdoor unit compressor ramps up, and hydro kit operates. One
(1) minute later, pipe temperature at mid-temperature hot water
supply (inlet or outlet water) is <0°C (32°F), and mid-tempera-

ten (10) seconds.

System has shut off because outdoor unit fan heatsink tem-
perature is >203°F.
Check the connection on the outdoor unit PCB.
