FOREIGN MATTER
P Settings
With the TK YM ZENIT FP sensing head, it is possible to de-
tect synthetic foreign matter, e. g. polypropylene, polyamide
(nylon).
!
To ensure the function of the P Sensor, the yarn to be
wound must not be wet.
Note : Existing YarnMaster Zenit F equipment can be retrofit-
ted by mounting the P sensor on the sensing head.
Limit

The setting must be adapted according to type and charac-
teristics of the yarn to be processed.
!
During the splice check, the P Sensor is switched
to“insensitive”.
