Safety Control Module (SCM)
SCMs are controllers that run the software programs to
interface with the cab controls and to govern boom and jib
load safety. The software running in each SCM controls the
I/O devices connected directly to the SCM and any I/O
modules connected to its bus.
There are three SCMs on the crane (see Figure 3-6
):
• MWSCM-00 (1) (cab)
• MWSCMD01 (2) (boom top)
• MWSCMD02 (3) (jib)
