REMOTE CONTROL
See Figure 4-7 for the following procedure.
For identification and operation of the self-erect controls
provided on the remote control, refer to Section 3 of this
manual.
Do not operate the self-erect controls without first reading
Section 3 of this manual and the applicable procedures in
this section.
NOTE The speed of all self-erect functions depends on
engine speed: the faster the engine speed, the faster
the self-erect functions (and vice versa).
The remote control can be operated without the electric
cable (4) (wireless) if job site conditions allow a wireless
signal.
If you are unable to get a wireless signal, connect the electric
cable (4) between the receptacle on the remote control (3)
and the receptacle on the transceiver (5).
Controls for the following functions are provided on the
remote control (3):
• Engine start, stop, and speed
• Counterweight tray pins
• Boom hinge pins (2)
