Recommendaon:
In the case of a brief period in standby mode (change in the applicaon such as bonnets and/or
mask/prong changes, suconing, etc.) and acvated humidier, the medin-NC3® should be restarted
before the paent is connected to the device. This will avoid the emission of hot shots to the paent.
In the case of a longer period in standby mode (pause in CPAP therapy, skin-to-skin care, etc.), the
respiratory gas humidier should be switched o.
- In the case of a longer period in standby mode and deacvated respiratory gas humidier, the
tubing system should be hung as vercally as possible so that any condensate can ow back into the
respiratory gas humidier. The Medijet® generator should be neatly covered. In addion, the 7-day
rule regarding replacement of the tubing system applies.
