Guidance and manufacturer’s declaraon – electromagnec emissions
The medin-NC3® is intended for use in the electromagnec environment specied below. The customer or user
of the medin-NC3®, or the organizaon responsible, should assure that it is used in such an environment.
Emissions test Compliance
Electromagnec environment – guidance
RF emissions according to CISPR11 Group 1
The medin-NC3® uses RF energy only for its
internal funcon. Therefore, its RF emissions are
very low and not likely to cause any interference
in nearby electronic equipment.
RF emissions according to CISPR11 Class A
The medin-NC3® is intended for use in professional
healthcare instuons (CISPR11, group 1, class A).

10 Electromagnec Compability
The informaon in this secon is provided in order to enable the operator of the medin-NC3® to decide whether
the medin-NC3® is suitable for its electromagnec environment.
Aenon:
- The medin-NC3® is a medical electrical device. Consequently, in order to guarantee the funcon of
the medin-NC3®, precauons with regard to electromagnec compability must be taken and the
medin-NC3® must be set up and used in accordance with the condions set out below.
- The characteriscs of the medin-NC3® determined by transmissions permit it to be used in industrial
sengs and hospitals (CISPR 11, class A). When used in a residenal seng (for which class B is
usually necessary, according to CISPR 11), this device may not oer appropriate protecon from
radiocommunicaon services. If necessary, the user must take correcve measures such as moving
or reorienng the device.
- Portable or mobile RF communicaons equipment (e.g. mobile phones) should not be used less
than 30 cm near medin parts and cables associated with the medin-NC3®. Failure to observe these
instrucons can lead to a reducon in the performance of the device.
Please note:
Electromagnec interference may aect the device and this can be manifested through alarms (for a detailed
descripon, see chapter 8) or limitaons in normal funcon of the medin-NC3® (see chapter 8.3).
