- If the emergency program is triggered by a CPAP pressure high or Feed pressure high alarm, the medin-
NC3® stops its ow. If the triggering high pressure decreases immediately (< 200 msec), the medin-
NC3® restarts its ow aer approximately 4 seconds. If it takes longer than this amount of me for
the pressure to decrease, the medin-NC3® restarts its ow gradually, whereby it takes approximately
10 seconds for the medin-NC3® to once again emit its set ow. If the alarm was triggered by a blocked
ow supply tube or a combinaon of several alarms of the CPAP pressure high or feed pressure high
type, the ow is stopped for the me being and in addion to the Feed pressure high/CPAP pressure
high alarm, a text message appears, informing the user that the ow will be restarted by pressing the
Alarm Reset buon.
- If the emergency program is caused by the breakdown of one of the supply gases, the medin-NC3®
connues its basic CPAP operaon with the remaining gas so that an oxygen concentraon of 21%
or 100% develops.
- If there is a serious error in the device, the ow is deacvated and the device must be restarted.
Alarm LED:
LED in the dial:
This white LED is acvated if the operator can change or conrm sengs by turning or pressing the dial. If this LED
is deacvated, the dial does not have any funcon at the present moment.
LEDs for baery statuses:
These LEDs show the current charge status of the baeries as well as whether they are presently charged or
depleted.
