9. METAL DETECTION PARAMETERS

SENSITIVITY 1 - 100 50
Sensitivity setting determines objects which are
detected and harmless objects which are not detected.
A higher sensitivity allows detection of smaller metal
objects. Variations in shape and material may affect
detection, and so do also the orientation of the object
and the speed at which it is taken through the detector.
ZONE
SENSITIVITIES
Z1…Z9
0 - 200 % 100 % Separate sensitivity setting for each of the nine zones.
The values indicate percentage of the overall sensitivity.
When each zone is adjusted to 100 %, zone sensitivities
are the same as the overall sensitivity.
AUTO
SENSITIVITY
Automatic setting of overall sensitivity.
AUTO FLOOR
SENSITIVITY
Automatic setting of floor sensitivity.
