4 Operation and maintenance
4.1 General notes
The 855 Robotic Titrosampler requires appropriate care. Excess contamina-
tion of the instrument may result in malfunctions and a reduction in the
service life of the sturdy mechanical and electronic components.
Severe contamination can also have an influence on the measured results.
Regular cleaning of exposed parts can prevent this to a large extent.
Spilled chemicals and solvents must be removed immediately. In particular,
the power plug should be protected from contamination.
4.2 Care
￭ Check all tubing connections regularly for leaks.
￭ Rinse the tubing connections from time to time. The tubing must be
replaced after prolonged usage.
