Problem Cause and remedy
Obstruction sensor Protruding wash load items or objects are blocking the
door, e.g. towels.
The door was closed before the door lock rail was fully
retracted.
Open the door.
Remove all objects and sort the wash load so that it
does not obstruct the door.
The door lock rail must be fully retracted before you
close the door again.
Unsatisfactory cleaning and corrosion
Problem Cause and remedy
There are white deposits
on the wash load.
The water softener is set too low.
Set the water softener to the correct water hardness.
There is no salt in the salt reservoir.
Refill the reactivation salt.
The quality of the water for the final rinse was insufficient.
Use water with a low conductance value.
If the machine is connected to a water softening
cartridge, check it and replace as necessary.
The water from the AD water connection is not sufficiently
softened.
Check the pre-selected water softening units. If
necessary, replace the water softening cartridge with a
new one.
The wash load is flecked. The rinsing agent reservoir is empty.
Refill the reservoir.
The rinsing agent concentration is set too low.
Contact Miele Service to have the dispensing
concentration reset.
