Programme
blocks
The wash block sequence is pre-determined and is the same as the
sequence in the programme overview (see "Programme overview").
– Pre-wash 1 to 3
A pre-wash removes coarse soiling and foaming agents.
– Main wash 1 and 2
Depending on load, cleaning generally occurs at temperatures
between 45°C and 65°C with the addition of appropriate cleaning
agent.
– Interim rinse 1 to 4
In the interim rinse stages, the chemical agents from the
previous wash blocks are rinsed off and neutralised where
necessary by the addition of appropriate neutralising agents.
– Final rinse 1 and 2
To avoid deposits and corrosion on the load, demineralised (AD)
water should preferably be used if available for the final rinse.
Thermal disinfection is carried out in accordance with the A
0
concept of EN ISO 15883 at temperatures between 80 and 95°C
with relevant holding times.
– Drying
Adequate drying reduces the risk of corrosion by residual moisture
on the load.
Programme block parameters are accessible only to Miele Service,
with the exception of the dispensing of rinsing agent and drying
parameters.
– Cooling down pause
If Cooling down pause is activated the drying unit runs with the
heating element switched off and so cools down the wash load.
This also reduces the amount of steam which escapes when the
wash cabinet door is opened.
