6 Image Acquisition
5. Repeat step 3 and step 4 to acquire all the necessary images.
– If a pathology is discovered, select [Insert] to select a protocol outside of the normal
routine to start scanning.
– [Repeat]: add a copy of the selected view to work on if necessary.
– [Replace]: to delete images and operations for the selected view and restart operations on
that view.
– [Delete]: delete the currently activated view.
– [Suspend]: start a manual scan when an unusual or atypical workflow is required, and
select [Resume iWorks] to restart the iWorks procedure.
6. After all views are finished, the system will prompt you to exit iWorks. Select [Yes] to exit.
6.23.3 View Operation
In iWorks status, you can perform view selection, repeat, replacement and delete operations using
the touch screen.
For some views, the system switches to the relevant imaging modes if necessary.
The comment for the current view has been automatically added to the image, ready for you to scan
the specified anatomy.
View Selection
Tap view name to select the view to be scanned. The name of the current view is in blue.
View Operation
In the current active view, you can perform image scanning, measurements, and adding comments
and body marks, etc. Operations are the same as those for manual operation. See the relevant
chapters for details.
If the selected view is configured with measurement items, you can tap [Freeze] and then tap
[Update] to start measurement.
Repeat View
If necessary, tap [Repeat] to insert another template of the current view. You can then perform an
extra examination.
View Replacement
The previous image will be deleted and replaced by the new image.
Delete View
Tap the view name to select the view to be deleted. Tap [Delete] to delete the selected view.
6.23.4 Manual Examination
Suspend - Exit the protocol so the user can run the system manually. This is used when an unusual
or atypical workflow is required.
You can run the system manually if necessary.
• Start manual examination: select [Suspend] to pause the current iWorks protocol. The system
enters manual examination status.
• Return to iWorks: select [iWorks] to return to automated status. You can continue the previous
iWorks scan.
