Driverless USB 2.0 control interface for Windows and Mac OS X
XMOS asynchronous USB audio, 44.1 to 192 kHz, USB Audio Class 2 compliant.
ASIO driver for Windows, driverless for Mac OS X.
- Input (computer to miniDSP Flex): two channels selected from plugin or by IR
remote
- Output (miniDSP Flex to computer): four channels (processed output channels)
TOSLINK optical and Coax SPDIF. An onboard Asynchronous Sample Rate
Converter ensures compatibility with most sample rates, from 20−216kHz.
[Standard version] 24-bit input and output, 96 kHz internal sample rate
[Dirac Live version] 24-bit input and output, 48 kHz internal sample rate
32-bit floating-point processor
[Standard version] FIR filtering with number of taps assignable to each output
channel. FIR filters are designed by third-party programs. FIR file format: IEEE
754 single-precision binary floating-point.

[All versions] User-programmable IIR filters: high pass and low pass crossover
filters up to 48 dB/octave on each output channel; ten biquad filters
(parametric) EQ per output channel peaking, low-shelf, and high-shelf types.
All settings controllable in real time from software user interface.
4 onboard presets stored in local flash memory.
“Learning remote” capabilities (NEC, Philips, Sony)
Controls master volume, mute, input selection, preset selection.
