X,Y Gantry

check
X-Axis Gantry Moving
Check that there are no obstacles or cables in the way when
moving the X-Axis gantry left and right.
The shaft fixation
bracket could be bent.
Y-Axis Gantry Moving
Check that there are no obstacles or cables in the way when moving the Y-Axis gantry
left and right. When Amp power switches off, the gantry can smoothly move for about 5
to 20 sec but the motion gradually slows down (This phenomenon is not a machine
malfunction.)
Connector check
Head connector
- Open the head cover and check that the locking part of the
connector inserted into the HC board is not loosened.
- Check the cable pins connected to the connector.
- Ensure that no connectors are open due to cables pressed by air
fitting.
- Ensure that no cables or air tubes are damaged by brackets or
cover.
Power box connector
- Check the left/right connectors connected to the power box.
- Check the D-Sub Connector (on the right).
- AC line is located to the right of the power box and the DC line is
located to the left. VME rack connector
- Check that the command connector (50 Pins) is locked properly.
New machines have a bar pin type locking mechanism instead of
the type used in the existing machines.
- Check that the encoder line bolt is fixed.
- Check that the DC24V line connector at the bottom of the VME
rack is connected.
MC & HC board connector
- Check that the inserted connector is locked.
ANC & Conveyor connector
- Check that no sensor connectors are open or damaged.
