Check that the head rack & pinion driving unit
has been greased - Check that Z-axis motion of the
head is not obstructed.
- Check that grease is coated evenly.
Grease feeding to LM Guide
- Check that a moderate amount of grease is fed to the LM guide
and add grease if not sufficient. If too much grease is fed, the
scale surface may be contaminated by grease.
Appearance
LCD monitor
- Check that the LCD monitor is lighted normally.
- Check that monitor brightness is normal.
Check scar on the feeder base.
- Ensure that there are no foreign materials or parts on the
surface of feeder base.
-A specific head might be raised when the feeder is mounted.
Check chamfering of hole edge
- Check chamfering of hole edge to prevent cables from being
cut by sharp edge.
Check gantry bolt fixation.
- Check the gantry assembly for each axis. Ensure that there are
no loose bolts.
