Parameter Description
Inactive – the line is disconnected or the DSL modem is
negotiation with the DSLAM
Operational Mode
G.DMT or T1.413 - indicates the DSL standard that has been
negotiated with the DSLAM
Showtime – the line is synchronised and the ADSL connection is
successfully established
Training - the ADSL modem is negotiating line speed with the
DSLAM
State
Handshake - the handshaking procedure is taking place to
determine the nature and capabilities of the endpoints
Trained transmit bit rate The upstream line speed
Trained receive bit rate The downstream line speed
Upstream power The output power of the ADSL modem
