OUTES
A single route using PPP (including PPPoE and PPPoA) and a second route using static or
dynamic IP are concurrently supported. The following combination of ports and protocols is
possible.
Port Protocol Port Protocol
ADSL Modem PPPoE/PPPoA and ETH/DMZ IP
ADSL Modem IP and ETH/DMZ PPPoE
ISDN PPP and ETH/DMZ IP
For example, the ADSL Modem could be used to connect to the Internet for web browsing
and the ETH/DMZ port could be connected to a gateway into a private wide area network.
FIREWALL
The module is equipped with a firewall that has the following features: -
• Stateful Inspection
• Packet Filter Definition
• Network Address Translation
• Intrusion Detection
• Security Logging
