2) In FX3G/FX3GC PLCs
a) When a memory cassette is connected (A memory cassette can be connected only to FX3G PLC.)
The contents (current values) of “n” extension registers (R) starting from are written (transferred) to extension
file registers having with same device numbers in a memory cassette (flash memory).
b) When a memory cassette is not connected
The contents (current values) of "n" extension registers (R) starting from are written (transferred) to
extension file registers which are stored in the EEPROM built into the PLC and have the same device
numbers.
