Command Definitions
All of the available commands are listed in the left column. These
include StakMax commands, SoftMax Pro Software commands,
Advanced SoftMax Pro commands, and Miscellaneous (Misc) scripting
commands.
StakMax Commands
Reset: resets the stacker to the initial startup state/position.
Home: returns all axes of the stacker to their Home positions.
Load Plate: moves one plate from the input stack to the reader.
Return Plate: moves one plate from the reader to the output stack.
Restack: moves all plates from the output stack to the input stack.
Cycle: moves all plates from the input stack to the output stack.
Record Barcode: sets the current barcode (a variable in the scripting
system) to that of the plate most recently scanned by the barcode
reader.
SoftMax
®
Pro Commands
New Document: creates a new SoftMax Pro document or opens an
existing protocol.
Close Document: closes the current SoftMax Pro document.
Open Protocol: opens an existing protocol. You must specify the
correct path for the protocol.
CAUTION! Auto Save, automatic file saving after every read
operation, must be enabled prior to calling protocols through StakMax.
Open Document: opens an existing SoftMax Pro document. You must
specify the correct path for the document.
Save Document As: saves the current document as the name you
type in the command editor field. You must type a the complete path and
file name.
Close All Documents: closes all SoftMax Pro documents.
