Aligning the StakMax Gripper
In most cases, the alignment process needs to be performed only once,
following installation. The StakMax Software includes an Alignment
wizard that provides detailed on-screen instructions to assist in
completing the alignment process. This process takes approximately 15
minutes to complete.
Required Equipment
The following required tools are included in the accessory kit
See Figure 2-50.
• Clear and black alignment tools
• Phillips screwdriver
• Microplate

Note: If StakMax Software is connected to a SpectraMax Paradigm
instrument, skip this alignment process. The SpectraMax Paradigm
instrument uses a unique alignment procedure. See Aligning the
Microplate Transfer Position on a SpectraMax Paradigm Instrument on
page 62.
