Alert: Unable to enter KVO rate that is greater than infusion rate
Cause: Occurs when user enters a KVO rate that is greater than infusion rate.
Resolution: Recheck data entry. KVO rate must be less than programmed or calculated
infusion rate.
LCD Display: ***ALERT *** LESS THAN MIN FIELD LIMIT, MIN = ________
Alert: Unable to program a field with a value that is less than the minimum limit.
Cause: Value entered is less than the minimum limit for the pump or medLMTS
™
programmed.
Resolution: Recheck data entry. A value entered cannot be less than the field’s minimum
limit.
LCD Display: ***ALERT *** “LOW C BATTERIES”
Alert: Battery source power is low.
Cause: The batteries that are powering the pump have reached levels that may prevent
the continued operation of the pump beyond 1 hour (actual time is rate
dependent). Alert applies only to C-cell batteries, not to the rechargeable
battery pack.
Resolution: PAUSE the therapy in progress, turn the pump “OFF”; and then replace the
batteries. (See chapter 1 of the User’s Manual for instructions on battery
change.)
LCD Display: ***ALERT *** MAX CHANGES FOR PERIOD REACHED
Alert: The maximum number of changes for the current delta time window has been
reached.
Cause: The maximum number of pump rate changes for the current delta time
window has been reached. This occurs when the rate has been changed more
than 12 times during any delta time window.
Resolution: Allow more time to elapse before attempting to change the rate or reprogram
the therapy with medLMTS
™ and prescription basal and bolus ranges that
will
reduce the number of times that the rate will have to be adjusted.
LCD Display: ***ALERT *** MODIFICATIONS NOT ALLOWED
Alert: Modification Not Allowed.
Cause: The selection cannot be modified at this time or the programmed lock setting
does not permit modifications to this selection.
Resolution: Review the User’s Manual for program restrictions or if lock level restricted,
change lock setting to access area you wish to modify.
LCD Display: ***ALERT *** NEW DOSE IS LESS THAN CURRENT DOSE
Alert: Unable to program a lower number of doses than number of doses already
infused.
