Work List
If equipped with the bidirectional interface option, select Work List followed by Refresh. Download the
displayed orders by date, last name, or patient ID, or make a selection from the drop-down list. The drop-down list
allows the user to select all orders, today, last three days, or last seven days. Once a selection has been made, select
OK to download. Download up to 100 orders into the patient work list for selection, editing, or deletion.
Orders selected from the work list will display with fields grayed and pre-populated by DICOM. Fields not grayed
can be edited. To edit a grayed, pre-populated field, select the Unordered check box. All fields will now be
editable but the test will no longer be associated with an order.
If an order does not appear on the current work list, enter patient data by selecting New Exam, followed by
Begin. A work list will display those patients whose orders currently exist on the network. Select the patient name
from the existing file, or select Skip to bypass. The clinician will then be prompted to enter the patient
demographic information.
Orders can be associated with completed tests from the patient demographics window either post test or from
Archive. From the patient demographics window, select Orders to display the current work list. Select an order
and the order information will merge with the completed test information. Select OK to save the merge or Cancel
to undo the changes.
Demographic Entry
