Forthesharingoperationtowork,thetargetKVLmusthavethesharingfunctionturnedonandmust
beonitsmainscreen.
4Selectthegroupyouwanttosharebydraggingthesliderfromlefttoright.
Stepresult:Aprogressanimationappears,indicatingthatthegroupisbeingshared.Whentheoperationhas
completedsuccessfully,youarereturnedtothelistofgroups.
Becausegroupsmaycontainundenedkeys(CKRswithnoKIDorkeydata),thenumberofkeys
sharedmaydifferfromthenumberofkeysinthegroup.Onlythedenedkeysinagroupareshared
withthetargetKVL.
5Selectanothergrouptoshare,ordisconnecttheKVLsandtapDoneontheconsecutivescreenstoreturnto
theKVLmainscreen.
6.3SharingAllKeysandAllGroups
Prerequisites:
Inordertoshareallkeys,thetargetKVLmustsupportthesamealgorithmsasthesourceKVL(assumingthat
thereisatleastonekeydenedforeachalgorithm).
•Example1:ThesourceKVLisequippedwithDES-XL,DES-OFB,andDVP-XL,andthereisatleast
onekeydenedforeachalgorithm.ThetargetKVLmustalsobeequippedwithDES-XL,DES-OFB,
andDVP-XL.
•Example2:ThesourceKVLisequippedwithAES-256,DES-OFB,andDVP-XL,buttherearekeys
denedonlyforAES-256.ThetargetKVLmustalsobeequippedwithatleastAES-256.
