1SelectCongurearadioontheKVLmainscreen.
Stepresult:Y ouarepromptedtoconnectatargetdevice.
Ifadeviceisalreadyconnected,thispromptisskipped.Ifadevicebecomesdisconnected,you
arereturnedtotheprompt.
2Connectthetargetdevice.(See1.4.4.1ConnectingtheKVLtoaRadioorAnotherTargetDevice,page1-13.)
Stepresult:Aconnectedtoneisplayedandalistofavailableoptionsappears.
3SelectKeysets.
Stepresult:Alistofavailablekeysetsappears,withtheactivekeysethighlightedandindicatedwithacheck
mark.
4Tapthelistitemforthekeysetwhichyouwanttosetasactive.
Stepresult:Ifthechangetakesmorethan1second,aprogressanimationappearswhilethekeysetisbeing
changed.Otherwise,thekeysetischangedinstantly,thecompletedtoneisplayed,andthelistitemforthenew
keysetreceivesacheckmark.
5DisconnectthetargetdeviceandtapDoneontheconsecutivescreenstoreturntotheKVLmainscreen.
7.4ManagingOTARCongurationParametersin
TargetDevices
ThefollowingparametersarerequiredbytargetdevicesinordertooperatewithinanOTARsystem:
•Target'sRSI
•KMFRSI
•MNP
Inmostcases,theseparametersareloadedintothetargetdevicesautomaticallybytheKVLduringtheinitial
StoreandForwardupdatethroughtheKMF.TheKVLhasthecapabilityofviewingtheseparameters,aswellas
loadingnewparametersintotargetdevices(ifnecessary).
7.4.1ViewingtheTarget'sMNP
YoucanconnecttheKVLtoatargetdevice(suchasaradio,DIU,orRNC)andviewtheMNPcurrentlystoredin
thedevice.
