NPort 5100A Series Configuring NPort Administrator
Export Configuration
To export the configuration of an NPort 5100A, right click the NPort 5100A, select Export Configuration, and
then follow the onscreen instructions. The Export Configuration function is a handy tool that can be used to
produce a text file containing the current configuration of a particular NPort 5100A.
Import Configuration
The Import Configuration function is used to import an NPort 5100A configuration from a file into one or more
NPort 5100As of the same model. To import a configuration, first select the target servers, click the right
mouse button, and then select Import Configuration. Follow the onscreen instructions to locate the
configuration file and start downloading the file.
