6. For Toxic, Oxygen, or Combustible IR
Remote Sensor Ultima Gas Monitors:
To disconnect the sensor wiring on the termination printed circuit
board in the module, pull up on the connector inserted into
J1 (FIGURE 1-26).
For Catalytic Combustible Remote Sensor Ultima Gas
Monitor:
To disconnect the sensor wiring on the termination printed circuit
board in the module, unscrew or loosen the screws on the
terminal wiring connector.
• Before removing the wires, mark the identity of each
wire to permit proper replacement (FIGURE 1-23).
7. To avoid damage, completely remove the black SensorGard
by unscrewing the black plastic ring (FIGURE 1-4).
8. Using a strap or pipe wrench, carefully unscrew the sensor
body from the module.
• Carefully remove sensor assembly from the sensor
body.
• Ensure that wires and connector do not break when
removing the sensor body.
