When EasyOne Air is switched on,
you see the following message on
the display: “Self-test failed”
The spirometer is possibly defective. Turn the spirometer off and on. Try again.
If you receive the same message again,
contact your EasyOne dealer or the
ndd Servicing Department.
When EasyOne Air is switched on,
the message “device self test
error #20” appears on the
touchscreen.
An EasyOne Flow Tube was inserted while
EasyOne Air was switched on.
Wait for EasyOne Air to finish starting up
before you insert an EasyOne Flow Tube.
The EasyOne Flow Tube was not inserted
correctly.
Insert the EasyOne Flow Tube as
displayed in
To prepare the test, 58.
Every time you switch EasyOne Air
on, you are prompted to enter
Date etc.
The internal battery of EasyOne Air is
defective.
Consult your EasyOne dealer or the
ndd Servicing Department.
When you start a test, you see the
following message: “Please insert
EasyOne Flow Tube correctly”
The EasyOne Flow Tube is not correctly
positioned.
Ensure the EasyOne Flow Tube is inserted
correctly and fully pushed in.
EasyOne Air is outside of ±3.5%
when conducting the calibration
check.
The EasyOne Flow Tube is not correctly
positioned.
Insert the EasyOne Flow Tube correctly.
You have not used an ndd adapter. Use the EasyOne Flow Tube cal check
adapter.
There are leaks in the syringe connection. Check the connections.
The specified syringe volume does not
correspond to the actual syringe volume.
Choose the correct syringe volume under
“Configuration”.
The curve is missing on the
printout.
The ink cartridge of your printer is empty. Replace the cartridge.
In the configuration of your EasyOne Air,
a black and white printer is selected, but
you actually use a color printer.
Go to “Configuration”, then “Report
Settings” and select the right printer.
When printing a report, the printer
prints meaningless characters, or
the printer does not respond.
A wrong printer type has been selected in
the settings.
Set the correct printer.
The printer cable is not correctly
connected or is defective.
Switch off the spirometer and printer.
Check all plug connections.
The printer is not switched on or is not
ready.
Ensure that the printer is switched on and
also has paper. Switch the printer off and
back on again.
EasyOne Air is not correctly positioned on
the base unit.
Insert EasyOne Air correctly into the base
unit.
If EasyOne Flow Tube is not
inserted correctly or if the
EasyOne Flow Tube detection is
not working correctly.
An EasyOne Flow Tube was inserted while
EasyOne Air was switched on the
instrument, or the EasyOne Flow Tube was
not inserted correctly.
Try again with the EasyOne Flow Tube
inserted correctly. If you receive the same
message again, contact your
EasyOne dealer or the
ndd Servicing Department.
Wireless connection to external
device is not working correctly.
Bluetooth is not enabled,
or distance is too far,
or Bluetooth is already connected to
another device.
Enable Bluetooth (configuration),
make sure device is close enough (within
5 meters or 16.4 feet),
check setup.
