6-3. Cleaning the Air Filters
Air lters are attached over the air inlet of the projector to prevent dust. The air lters should be cleaned periodically
in order to maintain projector performance.
WARNING
• Dust in air lters will hinder ventilation of the projector, lead to a rise of the internal temperature and can cause
a re or malfunction.
• Please do not use a spray containing ammable gas to remove dust attached to the lters, etc. Doing so may
result in res.
CAUTION
• Before cleaning the lter, rst turn off the power, make sure the cooling fan has completely stopped, then turn
off the AC power. Make sure the unit has cooled down completely before cleaning the lter. Removing the lter
cover while the unit is running could result in burns or electric shock from contact with internal parts.
The unit uses a two layer metal-mesh lter installed behind the lter cover. With regular cleaning it can be used
repeatedly.
When cleaning the air lter, clean it all at the same time.

1. Remove the front filter cover.
Pull the front filter cover in the direction of the arrow to
remove.
