4-2. Turning on the Projector
Please contact your dealer/distributor to connect the power cable.
Preparation:
• Connectthepowercabletotheprojector.(→ page 24)
• SupplyACpowertotheprojector.
NOTE:
• TurnofftheprojectorpowerswitchandlightpowerswitchtotheprojectorwhencuttingACpowertotheprojector.Shuttingdown
theACpowerwhiletheprojectorpowerswitchandlightpowerswitchisonwilldamagetheprojector.
• Turningonandofftheprojectorinvolvesatwo-stepoperation;the“projectorpowerswitchandlightpowerswitch”andthe
“POWERbutton”(POWERONandOFFontheremotecontrol).

1. Turn on the “projector power switch and light power switch” of the projector.
Your projector is set in a standby state.
2. Press the (POWER) button on the projector cabinet or the POWER ON button on the remote control.
Your projector is turn on.

1. Press the (POWER) button on the projector cabinet or the POWER OFF button on the remote control.
The confirmation message will be displayed.
2. Press the (POWER) button or the POWER OFF button again.
Your projector is set in a standby state.
3. Turn off the “projector power switch and light power switch” of the projector.
Your projector is turned off.
1. Remove the lens cap.
2. Insert the administrator key vertically, and turn it to the right.
The administrator key can no longer be removed. The projector will not function unless the administrator key is
inserted.
