Attach the gearbox cover.
Attach the attached gearbox cover with two screws.

5. Remove the lens cap.
Ifthelenshasalenscap,removethelenscap.
6. Remove the lens cover.
Forremovalofthelenscover,Referto“1-5-1. Removing and Mounting the Lens Cover” (page 15).
WhenmountingtheL4K-20ZM,loosenthescrews(4)onthebackofthelenscover,thenremovethering.
• Be sure to store the ring and screws you have removed in a safe place.

WhenreplacingtheL4K-20ZMwithanotherlensunit,besuretomounttheringonthelenscover.
Mounting the ring
1. Line up the protruding part on the back of the lens cover with the notch in the ring (the circle on the
diagram).
2. Tighten the screws (4).
