Using Command Mode
Command Entry
Commands are entered in combination of system data (command, first data, second data) and control
codes.
<Control Code List>
There are three modes of control code entry, as follows:
Classic Mode : Control codes entry that are assigned to [.], [Space], [/] and other keys.
Standard Mode : Control codes entry that are assigned to a PC’s function keys.
Enter Mode : Control codes entry that are assigned to [Enter] key.

ter mode display
Displays the present control code entry mode (Classic/Standard/Enter)
and the ON/OFF states of the character mode.
The ON/OFF states of the character mode have the following mean-
ings:
- Character mode
OFF
: Only 0 to 9 and A to F comma (,), period (.) can
be entered (a to f are automatically converted to
A to F). The control key is inoperable.
- Character mode
ON
: All data can be entered. The control code is oper-
able.
Function key F12 is used to switch the character mode ON and OFF.
