NOTE 1: Perform software license authentication on the SV8300 with unit number 01.
NOTE 2: Be sure to carry out the software license authentication procedure. Running the system without
first performing the software license authentication procedure might result in the occurrence of
alarms, disable functions of key importance to the system or other otherwise the successful
system operations unpredictable.
NOTE 3: Establish a communication link with the SV8300 before proceeding with software license
authentication.

If the communication link with the SV8300 is cleared, only the following functions are operable:
- License data verification
- Access to the Software License Authentication Center
NOTE 4: Internet access is required to register a software license.
Registering a Software License
Register the software license according to the following procedure.
For instructions on how to obtain license data and an Activation Code, see “Software License Authen-
tication Center User’s Guide”. “Software License Authentication Center User’s Guide” can be browsed
by logging in to the Software License Authentication Center (Web server).
1. Obtain license data
Access the Software License Authentication Center (Web
server) to download license data on the basis of the Software
Key Code found in the license sheet supplied with the product.
2. Verify and register the
license data
Create a PBX generation file (keyCode.act) needed to verify
the license data and obtain an Activation Code. Page 4-
