Release motor brakes:
When Brake Control Output (D03) = On after Brake Control Release Delay (D04) ms, consider that the motor brakes are released.
If Brake Contact Monitoring Select (D11) > 0, then when the brake contact feedback is received exit to state 5 (Elevator car load measurement) and
bypass the Brake Control Release Delay (D04).
If Blocked Elevator Release Enable Input (H38) = On (1) the Elevator unblocking sequence is performed in this state to release the Elevator system
safety gear locked to the rails.
If Output Phase Loss Detection Enable (H06) is enabled = On (1) a test is carried out in this State to check all 3 output motor phases are connected
to the drive
Exit To State 5 (Elevator car load measurement):
• When the drive is operating in closed loop mode AND when the motor brake release time has elapsed AND when Load Cell Compensation
Enable (E10) = On (1)
•If Brake Contact Monitoring Select (D11) > 0, the brake contact feedback via Brake Contact Monitoring Input 1 (D12), Brake Contact Monitoring
Input 2 (D13), Brake Contact Monitoring Input 3 (D30) and Brake Contact Monitoring Input 4 (D31) must be = On (1) indicating that the brake
contact feedback is closed i.e. the motor brakes are released.
On Exit To State 5 (Elevator car load measurement):
•If Start Lock Enable (I22) = On (1), phase out the Start lock position loop in order to smoothly transition to the drives internal speed control loop
Exit To State 6 (Start elevator profile):
• When the motor brake release time has elapsed AND when Load Cell Compensation Enable (E10) = Off (0)
•If Brake Contact Monitoring Select (D11) > 0, the brake contact feedback via Brake Contact Monitoring Input 1 (D12), Brake Contact Monitoring
Input 2 (D13), Brake Contact Monitoring Input 3 (D30) and
Brake Contact Monitoring Input 4 (D31) must be set to On (1) indicating that the
brake contact feedback is closed i.e. the motor brakes are released.
On Exit To State 6 (Start elevator profile):
•If Start Lock Enable (I22) = On (1), phase out the Start lock position loop in order to smoothly transition to the drives internal speed control loop
Exit To State 8 (Profile speed constant):
• If an analog speed reference mode is selected, Control Input mode (H11) = Analog Run Prmit (0) or Analog 2 Dir (1), and when motor brake
release time has elapsed.
• If an analog speed reference mode is selected, Control Input mode (H11) = Analog Run Prmit (0) or Analog 2 Dir (1), and if Brake Contact
Monitoring Select (D11) > 0, the motor brake contact feedback via Brake Contact Monitoring Input 1 (D12), Brake Contact Monitoring
Input 2 (D13), Brake Contact Monitoring Input 3 (D30) and Brake Contact Monitoring Input 4 (D31) must be = On (1) as required, indicating that
the motor brake contacts are closed i.e. the motor brakes are released.
Exit To State 12 (Apply motor brakes):
• If an analog speed reference mode is selected, Control Input mode (H11) = Analog Run Prmit (0) or Analog 2 Dir (1), and the direction signal
has not been given for 1 s
• If an analog speed reference mode is selected, Control Input mode (H11) = Analog Run Prmit (0) or Analog 2 Dir (1), and the drive has been
Fast started, and the direction signal has not been given for 5 s
• If the speed selection is removed.
• If the direction signal is removed (in dual direction input mode), and the Inspection speed is not selected (Inspection Speed Selector (G53)).
• If the direction signal has changed (in single and dual direction input modes), and the Inspection speed is not selected (Inspection Speed
Selector (G53))
• If the drive trips.
• If the drive is disabled by removing the Safe Torque Off, Drive enable and Fast disable (if used)
• If the control word is enabled (Control Input mode (H11) >= Control Word (6)), and the control word enable bit13 = Off.
• If the system was started using Fast start and Fast Start Enable (H20) = Off (0).
Note that when the inspection speed is selected, configured by Inspection Speed Selector (G53), the direction may change or be deselected, and
speed may change from no speed selected to Inspection speed selected during the start of travel to accomodate manual Inspection travel selection.
