5.5 Configuring a System Resource Profile for a
VC
A node system resource profile is divided into two parts:
• a global resource profile to manage the VC-wide resources for certain features
• a resource profile per card/slot to manage the resources on a specific slot
The per card/slot resource profile is useful for allocating resources to different
features on each card to suit the application or service being delivered on those
access ports.
The following output is an example of the per-node global system resource profile for
a VC.
A:Dut-A# configure system global-res-profile
A:Dut-A>config>system>glob-res# info detail
----------------------------------------------
router
no ecmp
no ldp-ecmp
no max-ip-subnets
no max-ipv6-routes
exit
----------------------------------------------
A:Dut-A>config>system>glob-res#
The following output shows an example of the per-card/slot resource profile for a VC.
*A:Dut-A# configure system resource-profile 1
*A:Dut-A>config>system>res-prof# info detail
