Press the “RELEASE” key (see step 3.) to record the image
without checking the image. In this case, the live image is
frozen for the release time, and then returns to the live
image. See “Image filing system” on page 206 for the release
time.
Maintain intervals of 1 second or more between each press
of the “RELEASE” key, when not using the “FREEZE” key. If
the intervals are shorter than 1 second, it may not be
possible to record images.
Keep the endoscope as stationary as possible to record
blurless images when pressing the “RELEASE” key.
D.F. counter does not appear on the monitor when the user
data are clear.
The freeze and release operations can also be controlled
from the scope switches and/or foot switches. For how to set
up the scope switches and foot switches, see “Remote switch
and foot switch (EXERA and VISERA)” on page 219.
