Table 5.4 shows the applicable PC card adapter and Memory Card.
• Be sure to confirm the followings. Otherwise, recording or
playing back images on the PC card may not be possible.
 Format the PC card before the first use as described in
“Formatting of the PC card” on page 114.
 Use the CV-180 for formatting the PC card. Do not use a
personal computer, etc.
• Be sure to confirm the followings. Otherwise, the PC card
and the data in the PC card may be destroyed.
 Do not press the “STOP” button while the PC card status
indicator is blinking.
 Do not press the “STOP” button while formatting the PC
card.
 Press the “STOP” button and confirm if the PC card status
indicator goes OFF before ejecting the PC card from the
PC card slot.
 Handle the PC card with care and avoid subjecting them
to sudden or severe impact.
 Do not place the PC card in a place subject to strong
static electricity, electricity or magnetism.
