Chapter 10 Troubleshooting
EVIS EXERA II VIDEO SYSTEM CENTER CV-180
The color tone of the
endoscopic image is
unusual.
The color tone is set
improperly.
Set it properly as described
in “Color tone adjustment
(“COLOR”)” on page 98.
The color mode is set
improperly.
Set it properly as described
in “Color mode” on
page 228.
The white balance is
incorrect.
Adjust it properly as
described in Section 4.5,
“White balance adjustment”
on page 52.
NBI mode is selected. Set the light source to
normal mode as described
in the instruction manual of
the light source or Section
5.8, “Special light
observation” on page 151.
The monitor cable is
connected incorrectly.
Connect the monitor cable
properly as described in
Section 8.5, “Monitor” on
page 170.
The following problems may be due to the monitor. Refer
to the monitor's instruction manual for further details.
PHASE setting is
improper.
Set a proper PHASE
setting.
CHROMA setting is
improper.
Set a proper CHROMA
setting.
Color temperature setting
is improper.
Set a correct color
temperature.
The endoscopic image
remains frozen.
The freeze switch is still
set.
Press the freeze switch to
restore the real-time image.
The endoscopic image is
drifting.
The monitor cable is
connected incorrectly.
Connect the monitor cable
correctly as described in
Section 8.5, “Monitor” on
page 170.
The monitor is set
incorrectly.
Initialize the monitor.
The endoscopic image is
vibrating.
There is a strong magnetic
field near the monitor.
Move the source of the
magnetic field away from
the monitor.
