5. Maintaining the stable condition in step 4., press the “Wh/B” button until a
short beep is generated. The result of the adjustment will be displayed on
the monitor for a few seconds (see Table 4.4).
6. If the adjustment failed, perform the operation of steps 4. and 5. again.
7. Switch to the normal mode by operating the mode button of the light source.
Refer to the instruction manual of the light source.
8. Confirm that “NBI” disappears on the monitor, and that the “NBI” indicator on
the front panel of the video system center turns from green to white.
• The white balance adjustment can also be initiated by
pressing the “Shift” and “F9” keys on the keyboard together
instead of the “Wh/B” button.
• When the white balance adjustment cannot be completed,
check if the color tone and/or brightness are correct and the
white cap is clean.
• Once the white balance adjustment is completed, the “Wh/B
OK” indicator keeps on lighting until the video system center
is turned OFF.
• The white balance adjustment can also be initiated from the
endoscope's remote switches and/or foot switches.
