“1981A/O92”isa7bandpresetthatusestightratiosoverthresholdinthelowestbandforstrong
consistentbassregardlessofsourcematerialwithlooserratiosinthemidbandstokeepvocalsand
drumsopen.ItalsotakesadvantageoftheWBAGC2inthe“BassOnly”modetodeliveran
especiallysolidlowendandusestheparametricEQto“preload”thehighswhichthenreceivea
gooddoseoffastcompressionandlimitingtodeliverafamiliarsoundingtopend.Anexcellent,
easytolistentopresetfor70’sand80’sformats.

Ifyoulikealotof“sizzle”withyourmusic,“BarbequeSound”bringsitonandsendsthehighsout
fronttobenoticed.ThemultibandAGC’suseanInfinite:1ratiounderthresholdandlooserratios
overthreshold,providinghigherdensityinlowerlevelaudioandmoreopennessinloudersounds.
FastmultibandreleasetimesofferupdensityandspectralconsistencywhiletheWBAGC2
operatinginthe“BassOnly”modegiveslowendtransientslikekickdrumssomeextrapunch.

strongbassiscreatedbyacombinationoftheparametricEQ,theWBAGC2in“BassOnly”mode,

stronglowend,andInfinite:1ratiosinallbandsofthemultibandAGCatalltimescreatesadense

“BigIron”isa4bandpresetdedicatedtotheglorydaysofradioandemulatesthecharacteristicsof
suchnotablecompressorsastheARTVLAandtheDorroughDAP310.Itprovidesawarm,open,
vocalsoundandwon’tattempttoaggressivelyreequalizetheoriginalspectralbalanceofthe
sourcematerial.ItmakesuseofOmnia.9’smultistageAGCsectionspriortothemultiband
compressorsaswellastheGainReductionOverridefeatureinthemultibandsection.It’s
competitivelyloudonthedial,butstillpunchy.
