Dependinguponthebandwidthavailableonyourlocalnetwork,itmaybenecessarytobuffer
incomingaudiototheclienttoavoiddropouts.Therangeofthiscontrolisbetween0and10,000
milliseconds(10seconds).ThemetersontheremotePCwillautomaticallyadjustsothattheyare
alwayssynchronizedwiththeclientaudio.

TheTCPLinkStatuswindowprovidesinformationabouttheconnectionstatusbetweenOmnia.9
andtheremotePC,includingCurrentPingtimeinmilliseconds,LikeBandwidthinKB/sec,theAudio
Format(PCMorVorbis)ofthestream,andSendandReceiverates.

TheClientMicrophoneInputMenuallowsyoutopickwhichmicrophoneyou’dliketouse,a
parametricequalizertocreatecustomEQcurvesforindividualmics,andtheabilitytosaveand
recallcustommicpresets.ThereisalsoaduplicatebuttontotheTCPLinkStatuswindowandthe
DisplaySettingsmenuforconvenience.
InputDeviceMenu
TheInputDeviceMenuprovidesalistofavailablemicrophones,includingbuiltinmicsandany
outboardmicrophonesyoumayhavepluggedintothePCrunningtheremoteinterfacesoftware.If
youpluginanoutboardmicwhilethiswindowisopen,youmayneedtotapthe“RefreshList”
buttoninorderforthesoftwaretorecognizetheaddition.
LoadPresetMenu
Thismenuoperatesinamannersimilartothe“LoadPreset”menuinthevariousprocessingcoresof
