TheCompresseddecoderinformationcontrol,whenenabled,indicatesthattheaudiohas
beenprocessed.
The Stereo decoder information control, when enabled, identifies the station as
broadcastinginstereo(asopposedtomono).
When enabled, the Artificial Head decoder information control indicates the use of a
binauralmicrophone.
TheTrafficAnnouncement(TA)flag,whenenabled,canstoptheplaybackofothermedia(a
CD,forexample)andtuneinabroadcaststationinsteadwhenatrafficbulletinisreceived.
Whenenabled,theMusic decoderinformationcontrolidentifiesthestationasonewhich
broadcasts primarily music content (as opposed to speech) which in turns allows the
receivertochoosebetweenthevolumelevelsforeachtypeofcontent.
AlternativeFrequenciesMenu
Ifyoubroadcastthesameprogrammingonmorethanonefrequency,youcantakeadvantageofan
RDSreceiver’sabilitytosearchforandtuneintoupto15alternativefrequencieswhenthesignalof
the current frequency weakens. The Alternative Frequencies menu allows you to specify those
frequencies.
