ClipperMenu
The Clipper Menu provides control over the stereo mode (Single or DoubleSideband), final clip
drive,preemphasislevel,bassclipperslope,bassclipperthreshold,lowfrequencyprotection,high
frequencyprotection,A15protection,L/ROutputbandwidth,andMPXAudiobandwidth.
The Stereo Mode control allows you tochoose between singlesideband(SSB) or double
sideband(DSB)operation.
TheFinalClipDrivecontrolsetsthedriveofthefinalclipper.Decreasingthedrive(moving
the slider to the left) reduces the amount of clipping. Conversely, increasing the drive

loudness are your processing goals, there comes a point when the final wave form is
completely full, and increasing the amount of clipping will no longer yield additional
loudness–onlymoredistortion.
We strongly recommend using Omnia.9’s oscilloscope as well as your ears to monitor the MPX
Output signal while adjusting the final clip drive. This control ranges from 6.0 to +6.0 in one
