FMProcessingCoreMenu–YouHavetoStartSomewhere!
The menu of the FM processing core is divided into three submenus: Processing, RDS, and
LoudnessMeters.
WhileOmnia.9offers completelyseparate processingcores forFM,uptothree HD channels and
three streams (dependingupon configuration),and a low latencystudio core,the majorityofthe
controlsarethesamefor each. There will be some differences, of course, for settings that are
peculiartoaparticularmedium.(Forinstance,HDandStreamingoutputsuselookaheadlimiters
insteadofaclipperforfinalpeakcontrol).
By familiarizing yourself with the FM section – which is the primary and perhaps most familiar
sectionofanyprocessoryoucangettoknowthemenuinterfacesandthefunctionofthevarious
controls.

verycomprehensive setof toolsandgive you completefreedom to createexactlythesound you
wantandfeelisbestsuitedtoyourstationinyourmarket.

TheFMPROCESSINGmenuprovidesaccesstoallsectionsofthemainFMprocessingcore.From
thismenu,youcanchoosetheinputsource,loadandsavepresets,andmakechangestotheBass
EFX, Parametric Equalizer, Downward Expanders, Input AGC, Wideband AGC1, Multiband Stereo
Enhancer,Multiband AGC and Limiters, WidebandAGC2, WidebandAGC3, Band Mix, and Clipper
sections.
