Whenenabled,theCommonL/REQcontrol“couples”theleftandrightchannelstogether
intheparametricequalizersothatanychangesmaketotheleftchannelwillalsobemade
in the right, eliminating the need to make the same adjustments twice. Disabling this
controlallows you to EQ theleft and rightchannels differently. This canbeuseful if,for
instance,onespeakerisplacedinthecornerofaroomwhiletheotherisnot,resultingina
differentbassresponseatthemonitoringpoint.
TheDelayAllcontrolallowsyoutodelaytheaudiooutputoftheSpeakerandHeadphone
outputs.TheDelayLeftandDelayRightcontrolsprovideameansbywhichtodelayone
channelindependentlyoftheother.
The Invert Left and Invert Right controls let you swap the polarity of each channel. The
abilityto dosoin one channelor the othercan be usefulif you discoverthat oneofthe
speakers has been wired out of phase and it is not practical or convenient to physically
switchthepositiveandnegativewires.Beingabletodosotobothchannelssimultaneously
cancomeinhandyifyouareinasituationwherebothchannelshavegottenoutofphaseat
somepointinthestudiowiring.
The Bass Clip Threshold controls fortheLeft and Right channels set the threshold of the
bass clippers in each Monitor Output section and operate in the same manner as its
counterpart in the FM Processing core. Keep in mind that these controls affect only the
monitoroutputaudioandhavenoeffectonanyoftheonairprocessingcores.
The Limiter Threshold controls for the Left and Right channels set the threshold of the
ProtectionLimitersineachMonitorOutputsectionandoperateinthesamemannerastheir
counterpartintheHD(andothernonFM)Processingcores.AswiththeBassClipThreshold
controls,onlythemonitoroutputaudioisaffected.
