BATTERIES
D.1 INTRODUCTION
The PUMA T2 handportable radio can be used with three different families of
batteries: NiCd, NiMH and Li-ion.
D.1.1 Battery identification
The voltage read on contact number two (of the battery) is used for identifying the
battery type. This is possible because of the different values of the resistance (see
Tab. D.1) located inside each battery pack on the second contact, according to the
battery type.
