1.7 OVER THE AIR PROGRAMMING (OTAP)
With over the air programming (OTAP), the NMS operator has the facility to re-
configure radio unit databases remotely over the air interface, and to manage and
program talk group aliases (up to 12 characters). OTAP facilitates the centralised
programming of a talk group database in the radio units and allows an easy talk
group selection on the radio unit.
