3.2 UNPACKING/RE-PACKING INSTRUCTIONS AND
STORAGE/TRANSPORT REQUIREMENTS
3.2.1 Unpacking
No particular requirements are necessary for the unpacking. However, it is
advisable to leave the material in its original packaging until it is required for use.
Once the packaging is opened, make sure that all the items listed in the forwarding
document are present.
After checking the above mentioned document, examine the equipment and
accessories and ensure that no damage was sustained during transportation and
storage.
Save the original packaging for possible future use.
3.2.2 Storage
This paragraph is addressed to the personnel responsible for receiving and storing
the equipment when this is not required for immediate use.
Avoid impact or excessive pressure to the packaging in order to prevent damage to
the contents.
The unopened package may be stored in an environment having a temperature
between -40°C and +65°C and a relative humidity not exceeding 95%.
3.2.3 Re-packing and transport
The packing criteria may differ according to the means of transport and storage, to
the period of non-use and to the storage period.
The original packaging is adequate for all normal purposes and within the above
limits.
It is advisable to re-use the original packaging for both transport and storage.
