Chapter 8 Connecting to External Devices — Connecting to Remote operation panel (AK-HRP200G)
Remote control unit connected to the camera
When AK-HRP200G is connected to the camera, AK-HRP200G button operations are as follows:
f Matrix button (<MATRIX>), skin tone detail button (<SKINDTL>): Operation varies depending on the lighting status of the button.
- When the button lights up, the operation is available with the menu setting value of the camera (setting for the linear matrix or skin tone detail).
- When the button turns off, the function of the linear matrix or skin tone detail is set to [OFF], regardless of the menu setting value.
After restarting the camera, the menu setting value is reected in AK-HRP200G.
f Scene/user le switch button <SHIFT>, scene/user le selector button (<SCENE1/USER1> - <SCENE3/USER3>, <SCENE4>): Operation is not
available.
f Adjusted value display area (4 digits), display selector button for ND lter/CC lter (<ND/CC>): Zoom and focus are not supported.
f Character/menu button (<CHARA/MENU>): Operation is same as the <MON OUT CHARACTER> switch of the camera.

t Use a crossover LAN cable to connect the camera's <LAN> terminal directly to the AK-HRP200G.
t To use the camera as a standalone device, the remote control mode must be disabled.
t The operation of connecting via IP and remote controlling the camera from multiple devices such as the AK-HRP200G cannot be guaranteed.
t For details, refer to the Operating Instructions of AK-HRP200G.
t When the camera is connected to AK-HRP200G via IP, the P2 playlist editing function is not available.
