Writing to CDs
• After formatting the disk, if the disk does not mount (is not recognized), remove it, and
insert it again
• Eject the formatted disks as described below
z When ejecting the disk while the icon is displayed on the notification area:
• Right-click the icon and click [Eject].
Only eject disks as described above.
• If you cannot eject the disk even after attempting the operation described above, shut
down Windows. After the power is off, insert a pointed object (e.g., the bent-out tip of a
paper clip, or the tip of a ballpoint pen) into the emergency hole (A) and move it in the
direction of the arrow
z Be sure to shut down B's Recorder before logging off Windows
z Do not use the Fast User Switching function
If this function is used, the icon or the icon will no longer be shown on the notifica-
tion area after the switching is complete, and B's Recorder cannot be used. If this
happens, log-off all users, and then log-on to Windows with the user you want to use
z Do not add the check mark for [Enable CD recording on this drive] in [Properties] -
[Recording] of the DVD-ROM & CD-R/RW drive
